Okay, while some places like restaurants, schools, hair salons, gyms and movie theaters are gradually reopening (albeit with restrictions), there aren’t a lot of in-person entertainment events happening yet. So we though that we’d share this Calendar of Online Events, put together by our colleagues Catherine, Kathleen and Dawn at First American Title. I know that we all look forward to attending events again in person, but when you think about it, how cool is it that technology lets us drop into Washington DC for the National Sherry Blossom Festival, travel to Cleveland for the Cleveland International Film, zoom into Austin for it’s International Poetry Festival or visit Los Angeles for the LA Times Festival of Books, without ever having to leave home. National Cherry Blossom Festival | Through April 11

Virtual Hapalua Festival | April 1-30
The Hapalua is the largest half marathon in Hawaii, organized by the Honolulu Marathon Association. Run or walk 5k, 10k or the Hapalua half-marathon. You can do one, two or all three distances! San Antonio Book Festival | April 9-11
We will be using an online platform called Accelevents to run the festival, which will allow us to offer book clubs, groups of friends, and classes the opportunity to chat privately among themselves during an event. There will be also a "networking" capability to mimic the in-person festival, where attendees can meet one another and talk about which events they're attending and enjoying.
