The California Desert Association Of Realtors® (CDAR) has just released their September 2015 Coachella Valley Real Estate Market Statistics. As a brief summary:
Single Family Residences - Attached and Detached
For September 2015, the median sales price for single family attached and detached residences in the Coachella Valley was $312,000, down from $328,800 in September 2014. For September 2015, there were 398 sales of single family residences (attached and detached) in the Coachella Valley, versus 411 sales in September 2014. The inventory of existing single family residences (attached and detached) in the Coachella Valley decreased to 2,252 (roughly a 5.7 month supply at the September 2015 sales level), from 2,355 in September 2014.
The highest median sales price by city in the Coachella Valley for singly family attached and detached residences in September 2015 was $675,000, based on 11 sales, in Indian Wells (versus a Coachella Valley high median sales price of $640,500, based on 10 sales, in Indian Wells in September 2014).
Condominiums - Attached and Detached
For condominiums (attached and detached), the September 2015 median sales price in the Coachella Valley was $227,500, down from $237,000 in September 2014. For September 2015, there were 165 sales of condominiums, the same sales as in September 2014. The inventory of existing condominiums increased to 1,058 (roughly a 6.4 month supply at the September 2015 sales level), from 951 in September 2014.
The highest median sales price by city in the Coachella Valley for condos (attached and detached) in September 2015 was $318,000, based on 3 sales, in Indian Wells (versus a Coachella Valley high median sales price of $389,900, based on 3 sales, in Indian Wells in September 2014).
