This Desert Sun article looks at a few of the hotel memberships being offered by some of the Coachella Valley’s best resorts, to allow local members repeat access to the resort’s products and services, often at deep discounts.  Some of the offerings include:

·         The Avalon Palm Springs’ California Patio Society summer membership program (good through December) offers 15% off food and drinks at The Avalon’s Chi Chi Restaurant and 15% off treatments at The Avalon’s Estrella Spa, as well as unlimited use of the hotel’s 3 swimming pools and access to its Yoga classes and other “body-mind” events, for a cost of $250.

·         The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa’s Aqua Serena Spa Membership offers a 50 minute spa service, 4 day passes to the fitness facility, 4 passes to the Oasis adult pool, a 20% discount at the Lantana Restaurant and other benefits, for a monthly cost of $125.

·         The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage which partners with the City of Rancho Mirage to offer Rancho Mirage residents discounted golf rates and discounts up to 20% at the resort’s Pinzimini Restaurant and Fireside Lounge, last year expanded the program to offer additional membership categories for locals who are not Rancho Mirage residents.  The Westin Mission Hills is in the process of finalizing its pricing structure for this year (with memberships expected in the $100 to$300 per year range, depending on the level of services and residency).

·         The Saguaro Palm Springs offers an annual $250 membership that includes 20% discounts at the hotel’s restaurants, complimentary access to the pool, discounts on room rates and other items.
