Now that Christmas is behind us, it’s time to turn our attention to the next big holiday celebration. The Desert Sun’s Laine Henry has assembled his picks for the top ten things to do on New Year’s Eve here in the Coachella Valley. In no particular order, here they are:
First Annual Reindeer Run | Dec 1st thru Dec. 31st – All day during business hours | The River, Rancho Mirage
Apong’s Philly Steak, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory have joined forces to create the Reindeer Run. The run is open to all ages and requires a $7 Adventure Pass that is available at all three locations. The Adventure Pass is a 3-Trip-Ticket that includes a specific item at all three locations. Run like a reindeer to visit each shop to collect the sweet treats, beginning at Apong’s Philly Steak for a hot cup of Nescafe cocoa. Next stop is Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream for a floating scoop of your favorite flavor of ice cream to top off the cocoa.
