The Living Desert is bringing back its ever pup-ular Dog Days, where four-legged best friends can join their owners for a tail-wagging adventure through The Living Desert’s grounds.

Dog Days: Pups & Pumpkins – October 30
Get into the Halloween spirit with your best furry friend! Dogs (and their humans) are encouraged to dress up and enjoy trick-or-treating fun throughout the Zoo.

Bring your pup along during regular Zoo hours for a one-of-a-kind day exploring The Living Desert together.
Dog Night: Jingle Pups – December 10 • Evening event
This special Dog Day takes place at night during WildLights, giving you and your four-legged friend a chance to stroll the Zoo together beneath thousands of sparkling lights. Both humans and dogs will need a WildLights ticket to enter this event.
Dog Days give your dog the opportunity to experience something new while you enjoy the Zoo together. As you explore, take a moment to notice how the animals respond to the sights, sounds, and scents of visiting dogs. You might see a meerkat keeping watch, a mountain lion peering at you from their perch, or a bighorn sheep calmly observing the activity. These moments offer a unique glimpse into animal behavior and make Dog Day an experience that’s enriching for both four-legged visitors and the animals who call the Zoo home.
