Neal J. Leitereg reports in a recent Los Angeles Times article that professional baseball player, Coco Crisp, has put a home in Rancho Mirage’s guard-gated Thunderbird Cove community back on the market for $1.9 million. Back in May 2016, Neal wrote about the 17,870 square foot Mediterranean style home, located on 5 acres in Rancho Mirage, that Coco Crisp has listed for $9.995 million.
This Thunderbird Cove home, built in 1985 and since updated, contains 4 bedrooms and 6 and-a-half bathrooms in 8,5290 square feet of living space. It features a step-down living room with two-sided fireplace, wrap-around wet bar, center island kitchen and a wine cellar. The home sits on more than a half acre lot, with a rear yard resort-style swimming pool with swim-up seating and a cascading waterfall.
Crisp, an outfielder, finished last season with the American League champion Cleveland Indians after being acquired in a midseason trade with the Oakland A’s. Crisp won a championship with the Red Sox in 2007 and is currently a free agent.
