Patch.com writes about Palm Springs’ Backstreet Art District’s art walk, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month. The Backstreet Art District is located at 2600 South Cherokee Way, behind the Mercedes dealership at Highway 111 and East Palm Canyon Drive.

This week's event will feature the artwork of seven galleries, including the work of Jere Allen, an internationally recognized figure painter. In addition, Lake Elsinore guitarist Vince Mendoza, who regularly plays at wineries, weddings and casinos in the Temecula area, will provide musical entertainment and wait, there’s more, since guests will also be able to sample cakes made by artist Taylor Narz.

The Galleries at Backstreet Art District include Artize Gallery, David A. Clark Studio, Fusion Art, Garrison Fox Photography, Heather Wood Design Works, Maxson Art Studio and Gallery, Minerva’s Gallery, Rebel Art Space, Studio 13 and Howard’s Custom Frame.
