Notice of Default to tenants (SB 1191) – a landlord-tenant law that requires a landlord who offers for rent a residential property with one-to-four residential units to disclose in writing to the prospective tenant the receipt of a notice of default that has not been rescinded. The disclosure must be made before executing a lease agreement. This law is effective Jan. 1, 2013, and expires Jan. 1, 2018.
