Palm Springs Life Magazine’s Lawrence Karol takes a look at the new gated Tuscany Heights community of 12 homes, being built by Far West Industries, at the far west end of Racquet Club Drive in North Palm Springs.

The homes feature single-level living, rooftop decks, pools and spas, solar systems, large outdoor living spaces and close up San Jacinto Mountain views. There are two basic floor plans, each available with slight variations. The Residence 1 floor plan has three bedrooms and three-and-one half baths spread over 3,407 square feet, as well as an attached casita. There is a slightly smaller version of this floor plan available at 3,282 square feet, with a separate casita. Both homes have rooftop decks and outdoor kitchens. The Residence 2 floor plan is available in three similar, but slightly different floor plans that feature two bedrooms plus a den and three-and-one half baths, as well as a separate casita in 3,394 to 3,542 square feet. Lot sizes run from 15,000 to 17,000 square feet.

Kitchens are outfitted with a Jenn-Air stainless steel appliance package, European quartz countertops, and maple Shaker-style cabinets. Master bathrooms feature floating vanities with quartz countertops, Moen Voss faucets, and dual shower heads with separate controls. Each home has a wine room with custom cabinets, a dual-control wine cooler, and built-in wine racks. The homes’ backyards include a pool and spa with Pebble Tech finish, outdoor living spaces that are pre-wired for televisions and speakers, and an outdoor kitchen. Some residences also have roof top decks.

The community’s estimated completion date is November 2016 and current pricing ranges from $1,235,000 to $1,318,000.
