We all know that good schools can be very important to home buyers.  But how important? According to the National Association of Realtors® in looking at consumers of all ages and income levels…

  •         47% consider highly rated schools to be very important;
  •         23% consider highly rated schools to be somewhat important;
  •         11% consider highly rated schools to be not very important; and
  •         19% consider highly rated schools to be  not at all important.

In addition…

  •         Among consumer age 34 or below, 43%  felt that highly rated schools were very important;
  •         Among consumers earning more than $100,000 per year, 58% felt that highly regarded schools were very important.

Maybe something to consider in relation to resale?
