Construction is moving along quickly on the Coachella Valley’s new $300 million Acrisure Arena. The arena’s roof beams are now in place and work on making the structure weather-tight before the end of February continues. The arena also has a new official name, the Acrisure Area. Acrisure, a Michigan-based fintech insurance company, purchased the naming rights for the facility in a 10-year deal, providing the developer, Oak View Group, and their partners, Live Nation and the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, with a strategic ally in their ambitious vision for the new arena and the Coachella Valley Firebirds (the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken).
