Lawrence Karol of Palm Springs Life Magazine takes a look at the new Gallery Vistas community, just east of Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs. Originally named Via Del Sol, the subdivision began construction in 2006 but was foreclosed on after just 10 homes were built. With the return of better times to the real estate market, the property has been purchased by Gallery Homes, a full-service real estate company that focuses on finding and developing residential single-family homes in prime areas of Southern California. Currently under construction, their new community of Gallery Vistas will fill in the gaps in the subdivision with 22 additional homes on a private street that will have a gated entry, a dog/walk park, landscaped medians, and enhanced front and perimeter block walls.

There will be three floor plans ranging in size from 1,819 to 2,659 square feet. The primary difference between the floor plans is bedroom and garage count.  All homes feature open floor plans, gourmet kitchens with wood cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and large pantries, expansive great rooms with a fireplace, master bedroom suites, lots of windows to keep the living spaces light and bright, and covered rear patios to extend the living space and allow homeowners to enjoy beautiful desert evenings. Pricing for the houses starts at $279,900.
