The Desert Sun reports that Southwest Airlines has announced plans to begin year-round service from Palm Springs to Las Vegas beginning May 9. Southwest will be offering nonstop flights from Palm Springs International Airport to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays. The flights will depart at 12:55 PM and arrive in Las Vegas at 1:50 PM. And even better, the route will be expanded to seven days a week starting in June.
Also, some good news for our Vancouver BC and northern Washington state snowbirds, as Southwest has also announced plans to serve Bellingham Washington starting later this year. Southwest’s nonstop flight schedule from Bellingham will be announced later this year.
