FAN FEATURES

Great golf may be the star of this exciting PGA tournament in the warm California desert, but even if you’re not necessarily a golf fanatic, there’s something for everyone at the CareerBuilder Challenge. Fan activities range from golf to music, art and fashion. First, the new entrance puts fans right in the middle of a high energy activation area, Bob Hope Promenade, complete with food trucks, bars, merchandise and exhibitor booths.

Casamigos Club 9 Lounge is a public hospitality area, located between Holes 1 and 9 of the Stadium course, featuring upscale dining options from premier local restaurants, like Arnold Palmer’s, Castelli’s, The Chop House at Jackalope Ranch, in addition to the Casamigos Tequila Bar, craft beer, wine tastings, televisions and a viewing deck overlokking the 9th hole green.

Birdies For Beer is also new to the CareerBuilder Challenge. Located on the Stadium Course 16th green, this location offers discounted beer for 10 minutes each time a birdie is made on hole 16 by a PGA Tour pro.

On Saturday, Jan. 21st, Lady Golf Fashion House of Palm Desert will host a fashion show at Club 9 at 1 and 3 pm.  Also, at Club 9, the world famous La Quinta Arts Festival will preview some of the fine art to be featured in their upcoming March show.

Music has always been a part of the tournament’s legacy and this year, for the first time, a concert by none other than Fitz and The Tantrums will be held Saturday, Jan. 21 at 5:00 at the Stadium Driving Range. Admission is included with Saturday tournament admission.
