Okay, while some places like restaurants, schools, hair salons, gyms and movie theaters are gradually reopening (albeit with restrictions), there aren’t a lot of in-person entertainment events happening yet. So we though that we’d share this Calendar of Online Events, put together by our colleagues Catherine, Kathleen and Dawn at First American Title. The Desert Sun reports that Southwest Airlines has announced plans to begin year-round service from Palm Springs to Las Vegas beginning May 9. Southwest will be offering nonstop flights from Palm Springs International Airport to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays. The flights will depart at 12:55 PM and arrive in Las Vegas at 1:50 PM. And even better, the route will be expanded to seven days a week starting in June.

Also, some good news for our Vancouver BC and northern Washington state snowbirds, as Southwest has also announced plans to serve Bellingham Washington starting later this year. Southwest’s nonstop flight schedule from Bellingham will be announced later this year.

MarketWatch.com’s Mike Murphy recently shared his take on what’s coming to Amazon Prime in April. First and foremost, Mike says that there aren’t a lot of new movies and shows. He did specifically give a shout out to the two highest profile debuts; the first being Without Remorse (debuting on April 30), an action thriller based on the Tom Clancy book starring Michael B. Jordan as a Navy SEAL who uncovers a global conspiracy while tracking down his wife’s killers. The second is Season 1 of  Them (debuting on April 9), a limited anthology series from producer Lena Waithe that follows a Black family who move to an all-white part of 19502 Los Angeles, where they face hostility from neighbors as well as supernatural forces. Mike also gives honorable mentions to Frank of Ireland (date TBA), an Irish comedy series about a misanthropic musician and Moment of Truth (April 2), a docu-series re-examining the 1993 murder of Michael Jordan’s father, James Jordan, and the two teens convicted of the crime.
