In a recent Desert Sun article, Xochitl Pena writes that OpenTable, the online restaurant reservation website, recently released a list of the top 100 Al Fresco restaurants across the country and seven of those restaurants are located here in the Coachella Valley. According to OpenTable, the list of honorees is based on an analysis of more than 12 million reviews of more than 27,000 restaurants across the country; all submitted by verified diners. California had 30 restaurants on that list, the most of any state. OpenTable notes that the restaurants on the Top 100 List were selected because they offer stunning views, delicious menus and above all else, incredible outdoor dining experiences.
